This is known as the scissor man who was thought to be inspired from folklore about kids that sucked there thumbs would get chopped of by the local tailor. Hello, in this weeks post I’m going to talk about prey, a game that even hasn’t been released yet. Prey is made by Bethesda, the creators that gave you titles such as fallout, and skyrim. In this game you play as a prisoner used for experiments of powers. The ship then gets infested with shapeshifting aliens and robots that are programmed to eliminate all targets within radius. With certain objects you can evolve and obtain new powers from shapeshifting to sound blast. Prey is a horror, puzzle, action game, together you must combine his powers and weapons to survive the horrific ship and save humanity from the ships upcoming landing.
In this weeks post I will be talking about a horror/indie game that hit the internet in the 2010’s, I’m talking about slenderman. Within the game you play as a he or she ( you don’t have a choice, no one knows the characters gender ) stranded in a walled of woods will some buildings here and there. It’s at night and you the player must collect 8 pages with warnings from the slenderman to get away from his forest. The more the pages you find the more often slenerman shows up. Now slenderman is a tall, white, faceless creature wearing a black and white suit and tie. When he attacks he use tentacles that come from his back. When you see slenderman you here a loud drum and the screen starts to get static along with the noise you hear when you see static, you then start to become slower. If he catchers you there’s a few flashes of static and slenderman. If you collect all eight pages you wake up in the morning in the forest only to be caught by the person who was trying to make you leave, slenderman.
In this post I’m not going to dive that deep into the story considering there’s so many theory’s surrounding the topic. In the game you play as Mike Schmidt, a security guard for a pizzeria known as Freddy Fazbear Pizza. At this pizzeria there are four animatronics which consist of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. These animatronics have a free roam mode equipped and night messes with there sight. So when at night when they see a person they think is a exoskeleton of a animatronics and there programed with the rule, all animatronics most have a suit on. So when they see you they will then successfully stuff you in a freddy fazbear suit which will kill you due to all the wires inside. You cannot move in the game except to look left an right, look at security monitors, and to push buttons. There are four buttons, two light swishes and two doors, these both require power and you only have a limited supply. So good luck, you won’t be there for long…
The game i have been waiting for years is finally out, Walking Dead season 3! Sure its coming out in parts but that doesn’t take aside the fact that i absolutely love this game series. In the first game you play as a former criminal named Lee who killed a man who was sleeping with his wife. After crashing in the police car he discovers a near by neighborhood where he meets the secondary character, clementine. Her parents in Savanna, California they must go find her parents and survive the new zombie breakout. Some time passes and there with a group leaving a farm of cannibalistic people. They find a car, you can either decide to steal from it or leave it be. In the end your group takes some supplies anyways. Some time passes and your in Savanna looking for Clementine because shes not in the house your group has obtained. You exit and Lee gets bitten. Now having a short amount of time to live you must find Clem and get her to safety before you turn. Now you go to find Clem in the hotel her parents were staying. You find a man has kidnapped Clementine. You also find out the car your group stole from was his and his family died cause of it. A fighting scene happens and he ends up dead. On your way out of the hotel you find Clem’s parents, they have turned. You pass out and you take shelter in a police station. You tell Clem to hand cuff you to a radiator so you can’t hurt her, then its the final choices of the game. Clem must shoot Lee or leave him to turn into a walker. Its a real emotional game worth buying, read part 2 to find out the story of the second game.
This week we’re talking about a game in progress, Hello neighbor. In this you play as a neighbor of a believed psychopath. You suspect your neighbor has something to hide within the depths of his basement. Gameplay is you trying to find what he has to hide. Sense the game is in alpha stage there is no real ending, I will post when the real ending comes but I’ll all write to you dudes later.
In this weeks post we will be talking about a new release, 2015 of August. This game is known as Until Dawn. It is a choose your own adventure, also known as the butterfly effect, this means depending on the choices you make this effects the out come of the future. The story goes like this, There is a group of teenagers consisting of Sam, Emily, Ashley, Chris, Matt, Mike, Jessica, and Josh. Last year some of these friends pulled a prank on Hannah and Beth, Joshes sisters. They didn’t take it well and ended running out of the cabin into the woods. The end up falling of a cliff and they die. Back to the current year and they friends group back together at the cabin to help support Josh. Some game play happens and the characters are chase down by a crazed psychopath. It turns out to be Josh pranking them to get back at them for his sisters deaths. But thats not the end. Mike and Jessica aren’t there with them. There at a near by Insane Asylum discovering the true enemy of the game, the  Windigo. The Windigo are humans that turn cannibal. But the changes there state of mind and physical form. So finally Mike and Jessica get back to the others and leading the Windigo to the rest of the group. A big action scene happens and some them escape depending on your choices. Josh either dies or Lives but turns into a Windigo.

This week sense being the first week back writing post i thought i should write about the one that started it all, Resident evil. Now i know what your thinking, either “What about Jason that was released on the Nintendo 64″ or ” This guy is lame because he knows about video games, Lol loser”. Well both are right but we are covering survival horror, not platforms from the 60’s. So resident evil revolutionized the horror genre for gamers. Being released in 1996, it sold over 1 million which was out standing for the golden age of gaming. The plot is this, you play as Chris Redfield or Jill Valintine. You and your partner must go through a zombie infested mansion and fend off each other so you can find Albert Wesker and possibly stop the virus from spreading global. To bad, in the end the virus is released leading to many more releases in the franchise. It received 3 stars on 3D’s and 5 stars on PC and playstation. This was Hunter’s Horror games and i will see you next week!
